Zoho One, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace: Comparing Them Fairly
The question "Zoho or Microsoft" is often the wrong shape. What is really being compared is two different things: daily work tools and a business system.
Compare layers, not brands
There are two layers. A productivity layer: email, documents, meetings, file storage. A business system layer: CRM, sales, accounting, stock, customer service, internal apps. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace are strong in the first. Zoho One covers both in one subscription.
The questions that decide it
- Is your problem in documents and meetings, or in sales and operations?
- How many processes run today in spreadsheets and chat?
- Is the team already committed to one email and document ecosystem?
- Who will maintain the system each month?
A combination is a legitimate choice
Many companies use email and documents from one provider and business systems from another. What matters is that the joins are organised: calendar, email and files connect to the CRM without retyping. See our integration service.
Do not compare list prices alone
Price per user is only part of it. Add the cost of extra apps paid for separately today, implementation cost, and team time to maintain it. See implementation cost.
A fast way to test
Pick one real process, such as lead to invoice, and run it in both options with real data for two weeks. That test answers more than any feature comparison table. See also Zoho One versus individual apps.
